About Dr. Strazar
Dr. Strazar a highly trained plastic surgeon specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He is an expert in aesthetic surgery, breast surgery, and body contouring. Dr. Strazar uses his exceptional cosmetic and reconstructive training to provide individualized, natural, and beautiful results to his patients.
Dr. Strazar prides himself on his patient-centric practice and easy to approach demeanor. He will work with your individual anatomy to create a customized surgical plan to deliver natural, long lasting, and desirable results. This requires balancing artistry, meticulous attention to detail, extraordinary care, and safety.
Dr. Strazar grew up in Toronto, Ontario. He began is studies at Queen’s University with an undergraduate degree in life sciences where he won numerous academic awards and scholarships, including the second highest standing in the undergraduate Faculty of Arts and Sciences. After scoring over the 99th percentile on his MCAT’s, he was awarded an early acceptance into McMaster University Medical School after only 3 years. It was here that he discovered a passion for plastic and reconstructive surgery. He was then accepted to one of the busiest and innovative plastic surgery training programs in Canada at the University of Manitoba. Furthermore, during his residency, he was twice awarded the resident teacher of the year.
Dr. Strazar is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada. Returning to Ontario, he worked at the University of Toronto where he completed 2 fellowships. During these fellowships, he completed extra training in breast reconstruction, microsurgery and complex reconstruction. Additionally, Dr. Strazar completed a supplementary fellowship training in breast aesthetics and cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Strazar has presented at both national and international meetings. He has won many awards and has been recognized for publishing numerous peer reviewed articles, including a cover page article in “Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery”, a highly prestigious journal in plastic surgery. His research has also been recognized by the American Society of Plastic Surgery as one of “50 Journal Articles Every Plastic Surgery Resident Should Read.”
